Weekly Race Rules
Tech:
During racing:
Track calls are permitted only for:
- All cars must pass technical inspection prior to racing. Cars will be impounded following tech.
- Cars must pass generally-accepted USRA rules for max width (3.25"), max height (2.5" for wing cars), and min clearance (0.062")
- Each car must have a painted body with three distinct decals or painted numbers.
- No part of chassis may be visible when viewing car from above
- Each car must have a painted driver, plastic or paper
- Drivers & spectators are expected to show respect for others and display sportsmanship throughout the contest.
- Abusive language or profanity will not be tolerated.
- Horseplay which poses risk to contestants/spectators or the race facility will not be tolerated
- No drinks or food allowed near the tracks
During racing:
- Drivers must turn marshal during their sit-outs or otherwise when called upon by the race director. Drivers who either DNF or DQ are expected to turn marshal the remainder of their race.
- During lane change cars must remain at the track, except when a car is already in the pits. At the track, only guide or body straightening, braid check or replacement, body pin/clip check permitted
- During track call only guide or body straightening permitted
- Car repair during the race allowed but must have begun when track power is on.
- No car substitution permitted. The result is black flag and immediate disqualification.
Track calls are permitted only for:
- Braid up
- Track equipment failure
- Debris on track
- Un-marshalable car, i.e., a car de-slots and stops in an area not readily accessible to a turn marshal. [Note: a car landing on the floor does not necessarily constitute a track call.]
- Rider in lane
Flexi-class Specifications
NASCAR [On a seasonal rotation basis with Le Mans (GT-1) & GTP Flexi bodies.]
- USRA currently-approved 4" flexi-style frame
- No frame cutting, may solder motor in place, rear motor brace permitted. Pin tubes permitted.
- Commercially available light pans permitted
- May use lead weight
- Le Mans or GTP requires either Parma #502 or Pro Slot sealed S16D motor. Special Pro Slot sealed, VP-tagged American-arm S16D motors are now permitted with trackowner approval. NASCAR Flexi requires sealed Parma #501 Death Star motor.
- 48 or 64-pitch gear
- Solid rear axle, 1/8" or 3/32"
- 1/2" or 5/8" fronts, stubbies permitted, no thingies
- Currently approved 4" NASCAR auto body. No aero-effect modifications or add-ons permitted. Top of the rear of body must not be higher than 1-5/8"
Wing Class Specifications
GP-F
- Commercially available, USRA-approved Boxstock frame. Cut metal with integral guide mount that is level with remainder of frame. [Older Boxstock frames will be considered on an individual basis. Must be submitted and approved prior to tech.]
- Minimum weight for ready-to-race car is 70g. Must maintain minimum weight throughout race.
- USRA currently-approved wing-style body
- Only ProSlot S16C (American arm) or sealed ProSlot S16C (Chinese arm) motor, or Hawk 7 or Falcon 7 motor
- 48- or 64- pitch spur gear
- Solid rear axle, 1/8" or 3/32"
- May use lead weight
- May use oilites or ball bearings in rear
- Ball bearing in can end of motor permitted on unsealed ProSlot S16C (American arm) motor
- May use motor brace at rear of the motor. Front motor brace exceptions must be submitted for approval.

Flexi car racing happens each Tuesday, beginning at 7 PM. Come and join the fun!
GP-F racing on Thursdays, start time, 7 PM. Please join us for this fun, fast race!
Each weekly class will be run as a point series. Join the fall series beginning October 11! Trophies, prizes awarded at the end of each series!!
